Dathomir BD-1 Scan Locations - Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order Guide - IGN (2024)

This page will show all the locations of BD Scans that can be initiated when found in Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. As Cal Kestis explores different planets, his buddy droid, BD-1, can find certain elements to inspect and scan, gaining new information about the worlds you traverse.

To make things as easy as possible, all BD-1 scan locations have been broken down and categorized into the areas in which they are found.

Strangled Cliffs

Burial Pods | The Nightsisters 06

When reaching the Strangled Cliffs after climbing up the large vine-covered wall after leaving the Landing Pad, head right and climb up the set of ledges.

When reaching the top, continue following the path right a short distance, and you’ll come across a large burial pod on the wall to your left.

Hydraatis | Flora and Fauna 01

From the Burial Pods above, backtrack a short distance and take the path left, where you'll find a large bulb-like flower hanging by the edge of the path.

Mushlings | Flora and Fauna 02

From the above location, climb down the stairs until you reach the ground below. Now, continue forward, and you'll find the yellow-colored Mushlings on the ground beside a pile of rubble and tree roots.

These Mushlings are located beneath the large rock pathway that you use to leave the Upper Strangled Cliffs.

Upper Strangled Cliffs

Ominous Effigy | The Nightbrothers 05

From the rope shortcut, continue along the path as you begin to leave the area and you'll find a large Effigy high up on a wooden pole located along the left side of the path.

Collapsed Settlement

When exiting the elevator that's taken to the top of the Collapsed Settlement area, continue along the path and you'll spot a large wall covered in Dathomirian Glyphs, not too far right from the climbable wall.

Halls of the Nydak

Located beneath the Mediation Point, drop down to the tree root bridge and you'll find a decaying spider beside a fallen Nightbrother and a large bronze-colored symbol on the wall.

The Lair of the Nydak | Flora and Fauna 03

When dropping down into the Lair of the Nydak, you will find a wall to your right that's covered in Mushlings and glowing orange. Scan this wall to unlock the BD-1 scan.

Swamp of Sacrifice

Bleeding Gut | Flora and Fauna 07

Using the map above, travel to the far left side of the Swamp of Sacrifice area. Here, you will encounter several Undead Nightsisters and a Nydak, so proceed cautiously.

Once in the area, you will find a large bleeding gut along the edge of the wall, not too far left of the Power and Control Emitter chest. The gut is bright red, so it's quite hard to miss.

Brula Fruit | Flora and Fauna 06

From the Mediation Point, jump down the collapsed stairs and continue forward. When leaving the large archway, you'll find the large Brula Fruit plant along the wall in front of you.

Fire Lichen | Flora and Fauna 05

Located near the top of the Swamp of Sacrifice area, not too far from the top of the large path that you initially slid down, you'll find a large yellow and orange colored wall that can only be climbed once you unlock the Climbing Claws. Scan the wall to unlock the Fire Lichen scan.

Nightmare Ruins

Just before the Mediation Point, you’ll find several vases at the base of the stairs to your right that contain the Kujet’s Tomb Encrypted Log.

Shrouded In Darkness | Archive 03

After squeezing through the gap that leads to the main area of the Tomb of Kujet, continue forward a short distance until you spot some yellow vines on the wall to your left.

Once you spot these, turn right, and you’ll find some old glyphs and statues near the wall that BD-1 can scan.

Sage Kujet’s Rule | Sage Kujet 02

From the Mediation Point, continue into the bright orange-glowing room in the distance. About halfway into the next room, BD-1 will stop to scan the detailed carvings on the wall to your left.
