First-daughter Ashley Biden was spotted outside West Hollywood celebrity hangout, the Delilah Nightclub, in the early hours of Sunday morning as her father's approval ratings take a nosedive.

The 40-year-old, the sole daughter of Joe, 78, and First Lady Jill, 70, was pictured leaving the club at 1.30am with a female friend, dressed all in black, and a man who appears to be a secret service agent, judging by the firearm-shaped bulge at his waistline.

The sighting came days after a poll that showed 53 percent of voters saying they disapprove of how President Biden has handled the presidency, according to a Quinnipiac University survey.

Ashley, who is married to Philadelphia-based surgeon Dr. Howard Klein, kept it casual, wearing a light camouflage jacket over a black v-neck, gray skinny jeans, simple pointed-toe black heels, and a brown leather fanny pack slung across her body.

Ashley, founder of ethically-conscious weekend-wear company Livelihood, accessorized with a stack of bangles, big silver hoop earrings, a choker-style necklace, black glasses and a number of silver rings - although it's unclear in the photos whether she chose to wear her wedding band.

She and her companion appeared to be accompanied by a member of the First Daughter's Secret Service protection, which she will have throughout her father's time in the White House.

The First Daughter, who has remained largely out of the spotlight during her father's political career, said in January after the Capitol riots that she took some comfort from knowing how 'incredible' the Secret Service are, adding: '[Her father Joe Biden] has so much protection, so in that way, I don't [worry].'

The roaring 20's-themed Delilah Nightclub, which features a live jazz band, a troupe of female dancers and lounge-style bottle-service according to their website, is a popular celebrity hangout - the likes of Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Conor McGregor and Larsa Pippen have been photographed leaving the joint by paparazzi.

The sighting came hours after Joe Biden became the first president to declare the second Monday of October - Columbus Day - as Indigenous Peoples Day.

Biden attended Sunday mass atat St. Joseph on the Brandywine Catholic Church in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware, and was pictured with his three grandchildren - 21-year-old Finnegan, Natalie, 17, and Hunter II, 15. Finnegan is the daughter of Hunter Biden, while the latter two are both children of the late Beau Biden and his wife Hallie.

Biden’s approval rating sat at 50 percent according to another poll released Sunday by CBS and YouGov.

According to their poll, which interviewed 2,054 Americans, 20 percent said they ‘strongly approve’ of Biden’s performance, 29 percent said they ‘somewhat approve,’ 12 percent said they ‘somewhat disapprove’ and 38 percent said they ‘strongly disapprove.’

Broken down by party, 85 percent of Democrats approve of Biden’s performance and just 15 percent disapprove. This almost exactly contrasts Biden’s approval ratings with Republicans with 11 percent approving and 89 percent disapproving of his presidency. Biden had just below average ratings with Independents with 44 percent that approve and 56 percent that disapprove.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki pinned at least part of the blame on Biden's plummeting approval ratings on the pandemic and the 20 percent of unvaccinated Americans.

Last Sunday, Ashley was photographed wearing the same bangles, earrings and rings - without her wedding bang - on a designer shopping trip at the Country Mart in Malibu, this time in a stylish black sundress, chunky tan platform heels, a green protective mask and sunglasses. She was accompanied at the time by a heavily-tattooed male friend.

Ashley stopped into several stores during her shopping excursion last Sunday, including jewelry brand Gorjana, and high-end fashion boutique Ron Herman - from which she was seen leaving with a large carrier bag in tow.

The store offers a variety of designer clothing and jewelry from a range of brands, including pricey accessories label Spinelli Kilcollin and fashion favorite Acne Studios.

Prices on the store's website - which includes both men's and women's offerings - range from $35 for a simple pair of socks to a staggering $12,800 for a chain link necklace.

Ashley seemed keen to remain under the radar during her shopping trip, throughout which she kept her green face covering on as she browsed in the stores, and spent some time lining up for one of the public restrooms at the mall.

She was joined for the outing by a male pal, who was seen sitting outside of the bathroom waiting for the First Daughter to emerge, before helping her with her shopping bag.

The unnamed gentleman looked relaxed and casual in a pair of turquoise pants and a simple blue T-shirt, which showed off several large tattoo designs on his arms.
